1. Introduction
HaloMeet ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to safeguarding your personal data and privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, process, store, and share your personal data when you access https://halomeet.fun/ and related digital services. HaloMeet is an adults-only service: users must be at least 18 years old.
2. Information We Collect
- Account Information: Full name, email address, phone number, gender, age, profile photograph (avatar), profession, and bio provided during registration.
- Creator verification information: Contact and payout details, plus a short verification video where a creator chooses to submit one. This information is used for creator verification, payout validation, and fraud prevention.
- Financial & Transaction Data: Transaction references, payment amounts, wallet balances, and timestamped consultation logs. Note: We do not store credit/debit card numbers or bank account passwords on our servers; all payment processing is handled securely by PCI-DSS certified aggregators (e.g., Razorpay).
- Communications, device & usage data: Messages, report details, IP address, device type, browser model, operating system, and diagnostic session metadata to operate the service, maintain call quality, and enforce our safety rules. We do not record or store live call streams.
3. Audio & Video Call Privacy
We do NOT record, save, or store your live audio or video consultation streams. Real-time media feeds are transmitted via secure WebRTC encrypted protocols between session participants. Once a call is completed, media streams terminate immediately.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain interactive 1-on-1 audio/video sessions and messaging.
- To manage and deduct per-minute wallet debits and credit creator payouts accurately.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent account creation, spam, harassment, or Terms violations.
- To communicate essential service notifications, transaction receipts, and customer support responses.
5. Sharing of Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Data is disclosed only to:
- Authorized payment partners: Payment providers used for transaction settlement. For purchases made through a Google Play-distributed Android app, this may include Google Play Billing.
- Cloud & Real-time Infrastructure Providers: Telecommunications and WebRTC signaling servers for stream connectivity.
- Legal Authorities: When strictly required by law, subpoena, or government regulation.
6. Data Security & Storage
We implement industry-standard SSL/TLS HTTPS encryption across all web traffic, hashed password storage (Bcrypt), and restricted database permissions to protect your personal data from unauthorized access or disclosure.
7. User Rights & Account Deletion
You have the right to inspect, update, or request the deletion of your account and associated personal data. Signed-in users can delete their account from Profile > “Delete account and data.” Users who cannot sign in can use our public account deletion page or email info@halomeet.fun / halomeetfun@gmail.com. We may retain only limited information where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or safety-reporting purposes; retained safety reports are anonymized.
